Urvi Patel, O.D., received her Doctor of Optometry from the SUNY College of Optometry in 2020 and earned her Bachelor of Science in Biology from SUNY Albany in 2016. Dr. Patel became an optometrist after seeing firsthand the importance of good vision and timely eye care. She was inspired to become the kind of provider who helps others maintain and improve their sight.
What Dr. Patel enjoys most about being an optometrist is forming meaningful connections with her patients and helping them take care of their eyes. Outside of work, she enjoys traveling and reading. Dr. Patel speaks English, Hindi, and Gujarati.
